Level 5

As education continues to be a key driver of social mobility and wellbeing, learning systems must shift toward more accessible, and therefore, more inclusive, methods to ensure access to opportunity for everyone.

This is particularly important for those ‘at risk’ of falling behind their peers because of an unidentified need or when current provision does not adequately meet their needs. The module aims to support you to identify the key features of a learning environment and teaching that is supportive of pupils with these SEND needs, taking into consideration the need for reasonable adjustments.

You will develop a knowledge of how to identify learners with difficulties in these areas and to evaluate how your current setting/ practice supports these learners

Funding of short courses:

All of our courses cost £2,900 but have a variety of flexible funding options available to them. There are also some discounts available to partner organisations or those sending more than one employee.

You employer / organisational may be able to part or fully fund your place via their staff development budget, alternatively you could take out a Student Loan, which does not need to be repaid until after you have completed your studies and are earning.  Taking out a loan would not impact on your eligibility to access further funding to undertake a degree in the future.

If you have any questions or would like further information regarding funding, please contact us at finance@ucw.ac.uk

Entry Requirements
