Third Year Acting and Performance Making students present “The Castle” at the Tobacco Factory Theatre on Thursday 8th June.
In a big old house at the edge of town lives Merricat, her sister Constance, her Uncle Julian & her cat. Whispers & rumours are swirling amongst the townsfolk about what happened to the rest of her family, but the truth is tucked away in that house. Follow Merricat through a tense, theatrical and darkly funny tale of alienation, psychological intrigue, & the difficulty in really knowing other people.
Inspired by the classic Shirley Jackson gothic novel – We Have Always Lived in the Castle. A production by University Centre Weston’s Performing Arts Graduating company.
Devised by Anonymous Walrus, Scripted by Adrian Harris.
