AT A GLANCE
Students from this course have won the New Designer of the Year award, Sky Creative award and Design Council’s Future Pioneers award at the prestigious New Designers Exhibition in London.
This Honours Top-up prepares students for varied and exciting design careers by promoting creativity alongside practical business skills, while also dedicating time to research and academic development for those who are looking to progress to postgraduate study.
The course is work-based, with a focus on commercial awareness, professional experience and employability. You will pitch your own ‘design for social impact’ to real businesses and public sector organisations and then, in collaboration with your classmates, project manage a final group showcase which takes the form of a touring exhibition. In recent years, this has involved our students exhibiting, winning awards and impressing design agencies in London and Bristol.
