Annie Hardt delivering caged wig masterclass at University Centre Weston for Hair Make-up and Prosthetics for Production students

Expert Caged Wig Artist Pays HMPP Students a Visit

15/02/2023

Recently our Hair, Make-up and Prosthetics for Production (HMPP) students were lucky enough to receive a masterclass from infamous Wig Artist, Annie Hardt!

Annie is a professional Wig Artist, who has gained notoriety for her caged wigs. A special type of wig built on top of a light-weight structure, the caged wig allows you to create any unique shape you want.

Based in Las Vegas, Annie has experience throughout the Hair and Make-up industry. When she’s not creating her bold makeup and wigs looks for  Cirque Du Soleil, she is delivering informative workshops internationally – sharing her skill with others learning the craft.

Annie gave a detailed demonstration to our students, who were then able to put their newfound knowledge into practice.

The experience was invaluable for our learners, giving them great insight into what it’s like working in the industry.

A huge thank you to Annie for visiting UCW, we hope you’ll come back soon!
