The results are in, and UCW has received brilliant feedback in the National Student Survey for 2025! UCW is now above the national average in all nine areas of the survey! This is a reflection of the incredible amount of work put in by our academic and support staff.
UCW’s academic support continues to stand out as a key highlight of the student experience. 93.1% of students rated this positively for this year’s survey. UCW’s mental wellbeing services were also praised, rated at 95.4%, 13% above the national average of 82.3%. Students also benefitted from fantastic freedom of expression, rating this at 96.2%, proving that UCW is a place for open and thoughtful discussion.
UCW also scored above the national average in ‘teaching on my course’ at 92.2, learning opportunities at 89.3%, assessment and feedback at 88.5%, organisation and management at 79.4%, learning resources at 88.2 and student voice at 84.7%.
Vice Principal in Higher Education Sadie Skellon praised the results, saying: “It’s wonderful to see such positive feedback given to us by our alumni! We know that supporting students is important, so seeing the impressive scores for mental wellbeing services and academic support is brilliant.”
