Sarah is the module leader for our Sports & Football Coaching Modules. Holding a BSc (Hons) Degree in Football Performance, Sarah has worked in professional football clubs, coaching in academy and community settings. Her teaching career started at Bristol City FC with the post-16 scholars, which then led her to develop a new female education programme at Ashton Gate Stadium. After a further year as Head of Coaching, Sarah joined UCW to focus on her teaching career alongside running the female football and futsal academy programmes. Sarah also works for the Football Association, tutoring Level 1 and Level 2 futsal courses. Futsal is a passion of hers, and she has coached and played for Super League clubs and even won The FA Cup in 2016 with Bristol City FC.
