Sandy has been working in industry for over 25 years. Having initially trained in Barbering, Hairdressing and Media Makeup, the skills needed in industry over the years have meant that continuous training and upskilling have been imperative to her success. Sandy has freelanced across the UK, Canada and Europe. She has currently been working in education for 11 years and has been at UCW for 7 years. During that time, Sandy has seen an increased demand for Hair, Make-up and Prosthetics specialisms from a variety of employers.
To provide the best opportunities academically for our students Sandy has completed a Masters degree in Education with University of the West of England.
