Gill Cook

Gill studied at Hartpury University where she gained a BSc in Equine Science before going on to gain her BHS AI qualification and qualifying for the BHS Register of Instructors. After working for a welfare charity, which involved rescuing and rehabilitating horses as well as being head of staff training, Gill started at Weston College in 2007. Gill gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and has an MA in Education. Gill is responsible for programme co-ordinating the BSC (Hons) Animal Conservation, Behaviour and Welfare programme with teaching specialisms in welfare and behaviour and has previously been involved in teacher training, programme development and module leading. Gill, alongside the teaching team, co-wrote the BSC (Hons) Animal Conservation, Behaviour and Welfare programme and has roles in quality assurance, assessment strategy design and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
