
Claire has been a solution-focused practitioner and supervisor in private practice since 2002, bringing over two decades of expertise in psychology and mental health education. She holds a Master's Degree in Psychology of Education from the University of Bristol and a BSc(hons) in Sociology and Psychology from Plymouth University, complemented by a Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice from UWE.
As a fellow of Advance HE, Claire has taught extensively on counselling programmes at both Foundation and Bachelor's degree levels since 2017. Her professional experience spans local organisations and universities, where she has developed a reputation for delivering high-quality training and psychological insights.
Claire's professional interests are deeply rooted in understanding and addressing mental health challenges, with a particular focus on anxiety disorders and early intervention strategies. For over a decade, she has taught on nationwide Continuing Professional Development programmes, specialising in OCD and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy interventions. Her work has been instrumental in supporting health professionals in developing proactive approaches to mental health management.
