The Level 4 units concentrate on specific areas of electrical and electronic engineering and enable you to develop and apply your own ideas to your studies, to deal with uncertainty and complexity, to explore solutions, demonstrate critical evaluation and use both theory and practice in a wide range of engineering situations. Opening in September 2026, the Aerospace Skills Academy at Airbus, Filton is a brand-new, industry-led campus developed by Weston College Group in partnership with Airbus and leading engineering employers.
Designed to meet the skills demands of the aerospace, defence and advanced manufacturing sectors, the Academy offers hands-on learning for engineering apprentices in a real aerospace environment.
