The purpose of the Level 5 standard is to develop proactive, influential and highly skilled practitioners. Upon completion, apprentices will be equipped to reflect on practice through on-going professional enquiries. Apprentices will be able to demonstrate a range of excellent skills, knowledge, and behaviours within their role as an Early Years Lead practitioner. Apprentices will study and engage with a range of subjects including Leadership and Management, Pedagogy and Theory, Equality Diversity and Positionality, Partnership Working, safeguarding and Health and Wellbeing.
The CACHE level 5 senior practitioner is embedded into the apprenticeship so students will achieve a nationally recognised level 5 senior practitioner qualification which is on the DfE full and relevant list.
