This course aims to nurture the socially and environmentally responsible business leaders of tomorrow by emphasising the theme of sustainability throughout.
The programme instils in participants the practices common to all successful enterprises, and has been designed with the input of a range of businesses, with graduates of this course having gone on to have great careers in the retail, finance and recruitment sectors, to name just a few.
It will also prepare you to start your own successful business as you will develop transferable skills in analytical and critical thinking, strategic decision-making, problem-solving and self-reliance.
The BA (Hons) Top-up in Business Management with Sustainability at UCW also involves a dissertation on a business and sustainability topic of interest to qualify students for further study.
A significant part of this course is also dedicated to project management, meaning you will learn how to oversee a range of complex organisational and operational initiatives.
The curriculum is also enhanced by opportunities to visit real businesses and go on relevant day trips and residential visits, at an additional expense.
It is delivered in our seafront Knightstone Campus in the centre of Weston. By enrolling on this course, you would also be among the first students to study in our multimillion pound University Centre in the Winter Gardens. The new facility includes a higher education library, technology pods for individual and group projects, classrooms, IT suites and social spaces.
