The BA (Hons) Top-up in Business Management with Sustainability at UCW also involves a dissertation on a business and sustainability topic of interest to qualify students for further study, such as Master’s Degrees in a range of subjects or on a highly-valued MBA programme. A significant part of this course is also dedicated to project management, meaning you’ll learn how to oversee a range of complex organisational and operational initiatives.
The course, taught by our highly qualified lecturing team who have all worked in the world of business, also has a proven track record of success. Indeed, 35% of graduates achieved First Class Honours in 2016. The curriculum is also enhanced by opportunities to visit real businesses and go on relevant daytrips and residential visits, at an additional expense.
It is delivered in our seafront Knightstone Campus in the centre of Weston. By enrolling on this course, you would also be among the first students to study in our multimillion pound Winter Gardens development just a few minutes from Knightstone. The new facility includes a higher education library, technology pods for individual and group projects, classrooms, IT suites and social spaces.
Honours Top-ups are Level 6 qualifications which enable the conversion of a Foundation Degree or equivalent qualification into a full Bachelor’s Degree. They are popular with students because earning an extra qualification for a relatively short period of study makes sense in today’s competitive jobs market. Honours Top-ups do not need to be completed immediately after achieving prior qualifications, and they are standalone, so the result of an Honours Top-up is not affected by, for example, the proceeding Foundation Degree.
