The purpose of this programme in Quantity Surveying is to develop you as a professional, self-reflecting individual who is able to meet the demands of employers in the construction sector and adapt to a constantly changing world.
This programme will give you a broad introduction to construction and different quantity surveying functions.
You will gain a wide range of construction knowledge linked to practical skills gained through research, independent study, directed study and workplace scenarios. You will be involved in vocational activities and guest speakers that will help you to develop behaviours (the attitudes and approaches required for a competence) and transferable skills.

Aerospace Skills Academy, Filton
Opening in September 2026, the Aerospace Skills Academy at Airbus, Filton is a brand-new, industry-led campus developed by Weston College Group in partnership with Airbus and leading engineering employers.
Designed to meet the skills demands of the aerospace, defence and advanced manufacturing sectors, the Academy offers hands-on learning for engineering apprentices in a real aerospace environment.

If not working out with an employer, any on campus practical learning learning will take place at our South West Skills Campus in Weston-super-Mare.
This vibrant environment is home to our state-of-the-art engineering and construction facilities where you'll learn from experienced lecturers in industry standard conditions.
You will benefit from a range of facilities, workshops and laboratories that will allow you to carry out a range of operations, including:
