Business Students Learn About the Future of Sustainable Agriculture from Guest Speaker, Kinsie

Our Business Management and Sustainability students were paid an exciting virtual visit from across the pond by industry professional, Kinsie.

Based in America, Kinsie works for Planet, the “largest Earth observation satellite network delivering a near-daily global dataset”.

Kinsie’s lecture was centred around the future of sustainability in agriculture. This explored ideas and discussions around remote sensing and geo spatial technology in Agriculture and Sustainability.

Kinsie has extensive experience in working in Agriculture Development. Her articles include Embedding Resilience into Farm operations and engaging with farmers on water.

She gave an overview of the industry area and inspired the students with her stories of working on different projects in agriculture conservation across the globe. Kinsie also offered any support or help that she could provide with students and their Dissertations.

Students loved hearing from Kinsie and her first-hand experience brought our learners a newfound perspective which was incredibly inspiring to see.

Thank you for your E-visit, Kinsie!
