On our Film and Media Production Arts degree we are always keen to watch and learn about films from all around the world. That is one of the reasons why we set up Dirigo International Student Film Festival (now in it’s 13th year, Dirigo will be open again for entries on 10/10/2026).
As the World Cup is underway in USA, Mexico and Canada, we would love to hear your recommendations for films from each of the 48 countries playing in this years cup.

Film and Media Arts Production, BA (Hons)
This practical, project-based course offers students the opportunity to develop their creative, technical and professional, skills specialising in a range of practices across Film, Photography, Audio and Media Arts. Underpinned by theoretical knowledge and with access to industry standard equipment and studios, students will build their portfolios and showcase their work in preparation for freelance work and employment in the creative industries.
