Gill Cook

Gill studied at Hartpury University where she gained a BSc in Equine Science before going on to gain her BHS AI qualification and qualifying for the BHS Register of Instructors. After working for a welfare charity, which involved rescuing and rehabilitating horses as well as being head of staff training, Gill started at Weston College in 2007. Gill gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and has an MA in Education. Gill is responsible for managing the G95 Learning and Teaching Module on the PG-Cert and the Foundation Degree programmes in Equine and Animal Management as well as teaching Further and Higher Education and holding quality assurance roles within teaching observation and support. Gill is also a Higher Education Learning and Teaching Mentor and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
