Fiona Philp

Fiona is a trained Performer and Performance and Acting Lecturer. Fiona's passion lies in running creative courses for young people in performance and theatre making. Having trained at the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech & Drama she has 13 years of experience in the sector, from performing, teaching, directing, and devising in and around London, and the South West. Fiona took on a performer in-residence role at The Theatre Delicatessen, one of the capitals most exciting and vibrant performing arts organisations. She began her teaching career at The Brit School of Performing Arts, London. She has facilitated theatre education programmes at Theatro Technis, Camden and led a Drama humanitarian project for Art in Tanzania, Africa. Performing in original devised work as well as directing and coordinating events for Fringe Theatre Festivals, and Creative Youth Network, Bristol, Fiona was the deviser director, and performer of her own theatre company T.B.C. Fiona is in her 7th year of teaching and directing plays on the Performing Arts course at Weston College and a new addition to the UCW team teaching on the Degree in Performance Making and Acting.
