Get involved
We want our students to make the most out of their time at UCW, so we offer a number of volunteer and paid roles so they can gain new skills, meet new people and have a say in how UCW is being run. The roles include student representatives, student governors, student ambassadors and freshers’ angels.
Freshers’ Week
Freshers’ Week is jam-packed with events to help our new students make friends and familiarise themselves with everything UCW and Weston have to offer.
UCW Awards
Our annual awards ceremonies celebrate the many successes of our students and staff and recognise the employers who support our students with work experience placements and other career development opportunities.
Graduation
Every year hundreds of our students graduate at special ceremonies held in Weston. Graduation day typically includes processions and a drinks reception in the Winter Gardens ballroom. It is such a memorable way for our students to celebrate their achievements with their peers and loved ones.
