INDUCTION WEEK INFORMATION

We’re really looking forward to welcoming you to University Centre Weston (UCW)! Below you'll find all the key information about your induction week and how to get ready for the start of your course.
Term begins on Monday 8th September 2025.

We’ll begin the week with a Welcome Meeting for all first-year students at 10:00am on Monday in the Winter Gardens Ballroom. This will be a great opportunity for you to meet fellow students and key members of the UCW support team. During this session, we’ll share important information about UCW and student life.

We understand that if you are starting a Degree Apprenticeship with us, or if your course is only taught one day a week, you may not be able to attend this Welcome Meeting due to work commitments. Please do not worry about this as we have already planned a bespoke Welcome Meeting for your courses during induction week so you will not miss out on information or support.
