Angela Midgley

Lecturer in Business

Angela graduated from Salford University with a BSc in Business and Management and has also completed a Master’s degree in Education, with an emphasis on enhancing student engagement. Angela has 12 years of industry experience, having worked in retail management and as an Auditor for PRG International. Her areas of academic interest surround management and leadership from local, national and global perspectives, and developing student understanding of research methods.


Andy Alton

Partnership Manager and Lecturer in Business

Andy is the Partnership Manager for higher education at UCW and has both developed and taught on a variety of courses across the subject areas of Business, Tourism and IT. He studied BA (Hons) Business with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) at the University of the West of England, Bristol, before progressing to a postgraduate qualification in Management Information Systems and Services. Andy has a number of years of management experience in the IT and hospitality industries, and has worked at Weston College and UCW for more than 15 years. He has recently completed a Master’s degree in Education, with a focus on feedback ownership.
