University Centre Weston Graduation 2019

We are excited to celebrate Graduation with you this Saturday (21st September). Below you will find final details of everything you will need to know.

When you arrive on the day please visit the registration desk in the Winter Gardens first.

Registration & Tickets

You will receive your two free guest tickets on Graduation day at registration. Registration is located at the UCW Winter Gardens Campus.

If you have purchased an additional ticket, please print out the confirmation email you received containing the ticket and hand this in at registration.

Ceremony 1: Registration opens at 08:30. You must be gowned before 9:40.
Ceremony 2: Registration opens at 11:00. You must be gowned before 12:10.
Ceremony 3: Registration opens at 13:30. You must be gowned before 14:40.

If you have family or friends who were unable to get tickets, they can watch the ceremony on a screen in the Italian Gardens. Similarly the ceremonies will be live streamed on the day.


Church Timings for Guests

Guests must be seated in the church before the times below:

Ceremony 1: 10:15
Ceremony 2: 12:45
Ceremony 3: 15:15

Please allow 5 minutes to walk from the Winter Gardens to the Church (on Lower Church Road).



Please familiarise yourself with the schedule for the day to help the ceremony run smoothy and efficiently.

Please use the schedules above to check what time your course will be gowning.

If you haven’t already booked your gown, please use the link here to do it as soon as possible as you may encounter a late fee.



If you have ordered a professional photograph, this will happen with Ede & Ravenscroft after you have gowned. If you have not pre-booked this, you can pay on the day. Please ensure you allow enough time before the procession forms as per the above schedule.


Parking & Road Closure

A number of local roads will be closed or have restricted parking throughout the day. These include, Lower Church Road and South Terrace. The nearest parking facilities to the venue are the Sovereign Shopping Centre and the Melrose Car Park. Both of these car parks include spaces for blue badge holders.
