Richard Edkins

Lecturer in Photographer and Digital Media

Richard has been teaching disciplines in media and film at undergraduate and postgraduate levels for several years, and looks to bring experimental approaches to image-making; incorporating still and moving images within his teaching and his involvement in the wider expressive media arts environment.

Sam Brooks

Programme Coordinator and Lecturer Creative Art and Design

Sam has over a decade of teaching experience in London and the South West. He holds a Master’s degree in Documentary Photography from the University of South West Wales and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education from UCL. Prior to working in education, he worked as a documentary and fine art photographer and graphic designer, and Sam has also been involved with numerous photographic projects in the music industry for clients including Pink Floyd, The Cranberries, Ian Dury and the Scottish National Opera.


Jamie Dormer-Durling

 Lecturer in Photography

Jamie is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Graphic Arts, having been awarded a Certificate in Education from Bath Spa University and Foundation degree in Professional Photography from Plymouth University. His areas of academic interest include silver-based and experimental processes, historical and contextual studies, and documentary and narrative. Jamie has also curated exhibitions and written essays for photography books.
