Weston-super-Mare is best known for its sprawling sandy beach and Grand Pier, but there is so much more which makes it a great place to live and study!

Located in the stunning South West of England, Weston is geographically blessed. It is very close to the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and some of the best rural and coastal scenery in Britain, with Exmoor and Dartmoor and Devon and Cornwall just down the road.

Somerset’s other well-known attractions include Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor, the Clarks Village designer outlet shopping centre in Street, and the gorgeous Cheddar Gorge and Quantock Hills.

Bristol, which is widely regarded as one of the best cities in the UK, is easily reached from Weston by rail and road. It really is a place to suit every taste, and is known for its diversity, live music scene, galleries, waterfront, parks and festivals. Its international airport also offers flights across the UK and to Europe and beyond.

England’s only World Heritage city, Bath, is also near to Weston. UCW is easily accessible by road, with all three campuses just a few minutes’ drive from junction 21 of the M5 motorway. Approximate rail times from Weston are 30 minutes to Bristol, 50 minutes to Bath, an hour to Exeter and two hours to London.
